April Fools Tea Party

April fool's day on our house is my mum's birthday. This is not a joke, it is actually her birthday!
This year we decided to treat her to a tea party at home, seeing as outside entertaining in the UK is quite unpredictable.

My sisters and I made a selection of treats and nibbles, including:
Salmon and Dill Sandwiches
Lemon Chicken Sandwiches
Profiteroles

Mini Pavlova's

Raspberry Mille Feuille

Strawberry and Lemon Custard Cream Genoise Sponge

Macarons with rose water and white chocolate filling (these were made very kindly by Isabel as I didn't have the time or patience! They were gorgeous!)

Wholewheat Scones

Passion Fruit Curd
Selection of homemade jams

I'm not going to include the recipes for any of these right now as it will take me forever, and to be honest you'll be pretty bored by the time you've finished reading this post!
I will at a later date post the passion fruit curd, wholewheat scones, meringue recipe for the pavlova and genoise sponge - these were the standouts and have somehow gone astray...

I don't know where they went *said with full mouth*...
